is the top screen on the DS really important, for any ,or all the versions? cause the top screen on mine is broken.... *its tamagotchi,related...t.hats why i erm...posted this here.

Yes,

In CS1 (Corner Shop 1) you will need it for all shop

In CS2 (Corner Shop 2) you will also need it.

Also, how is you top screen broken?
