Hi,with my version 5 i put it asleep alot,does this waste the batteries or not?also how long would they last if i continue to do this?

When they go to sleep, you should change the contrast to all the way down. It will save alot of battery. And since the v5 battery's are the same battery's as the other versions, it should last like 6 months.

Thanks gotchi boy,but are you 100% sure that lowering the contrast will save batterie?

Yes, because when they sleep, It uses so much pixels, so reducing the contrast will help! I do it every night when they go to bed.
