Tamagotchi iD L Custom Wallpaper

I am trying to paint my own custom iD L wallpaper. According to Binary's instructions on Tama Zone, I should use GIMP 2. I have downloaded GIMP 2 already, but I have no idea how to paint with it. I can't figure it out. Could someone please assist me?

Hi Sakuranboy, I would recommend that you Google some tutorials on how to work with Gimp. Image manipulation/photo editing/painting software are often very complicated and require a lot of practice. I've been using Photoshop and Illustrator for almost 10 years and I'm still learning - but because you are tackling a not-so-complex project you should be able to learn the basics of Gimp within a week or two.

Check this website out, it's a good place to start.

Always here to help. Gimp and Photoshop are fairly intensive programs that usually need a little training and/or figuring out. It's definitely a spare time kind of activity!
