This has bothered me for a while, I remember back in 1997, when i was around 10, and a huge tamagotchi fan (just like i am now :furawatchi: tamas came in boxes. When you took the tama out of the box, the box stayed completely intact, so you could put it back in and it was a prime collectors item. Now, they are on plastic cards you have to mutilate to get into, totally killing the whole collectors aspect of the packaging. I think the boxes were a much smarter way to package the tamas. However, the plastic cards make it harder for people to shoplift them from stores, but the boxes just made the collecters aspect of the tamas so much greater. What do you think?
