I have got a version 2 tamagotchi. My tama character is not permanently in Egypt. If you buy a UFO for your tama, when it uses the UFO one of the 5 places it will visit is Egypt. My Tama will only stay in Egypt for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. So basically the UFO is just a normal item.
