The TamaSchool is a model of Japanese Tamagotchi. It is not a virtual pet like previous Tamagotchis. You don't raise a creature from an egg to adult-hood. Instead, you are a teacher, and your success is measured by how well you keep your class on track. Your class size grows as you become a good and popular teacher.
There are two models, TamaSchool version 1 was released on November 23, 2006. TamaSchool version 2 was released in February 2007. The two versions look similar. Most of the characters overlap between the two. Only a few characters are unique to each. Each regular student (character type) has one of six subjects they're really good at: language, math, science, music, gym, or art. The built-in games on the TamaSchool version 1 are related to language, math, and science. The built-in games on the TamaSchool version 2 are related to music, gym, and art.

The TamaSchool can connect to the
TamaSchool web site through use of login and logout passwords. Some games you play on the web site require not only the login password but also a user name. The user name can be anything - it's not related to the password. Why do you need a user name? Because some of the games are against other on-line users!
