Tamagotchi - song

This is maybe an idiotic question, but I'll ask it anyway, because I'm curious and critical people won't stop me.

I downloaded the Tamagotchi song, the one by Daze, (curious, and it urged me to clean a little) and the opening sound is a tamagotchi that beeps. but the sound is not like my tamas. I can not remember what the p1 tamagotchi sounds were like! So were they different or did the singer or writer of the song have a cousin? I'm very curious. Does anyone know? Thank you.

I have both the Tamagotchi songs and yes, that is an original Tamagotchis Gen1 or 2 you are hearing.
