Tamagotchi V4(.5) Family Group Mystery

I was wondering if the pattern of which parent family groups produce which child family groups was ever solved.

To be clear, I'm talking about the international V4(.5), not the Entama and Uratama (if I recall correctly, those have been solved).

I'm primarily curious because I had a Mame character mate with a Meme character on my V4 and got a Mame character. On the Entama, they should have produced a Meme character, right?
