 Some haters of Tamagotchis have been

calling Tamagotchis "too babyish"!!Will

tamagotchis still stay in style??!! Find

out in the next column of Violetchi!! :D

If someone can drop something that they still enjoy just to "fit" in then I'd say they are foolish. The Tamagotchi "craze" I don't have to worry about being at my age of 21. Most people look at me then look at my tamagotchi then act like I have some kind of strange disease. (o_O)(what am I contageous or something?!) My advice if you enjoy Tamagotchi but its not the "it" thing anymore then keep playing them. Why is this in the Tamagotchi Warnings Section? (o_O)

Same PockyGirl, I'm 19 and still enjoy tamagotchis. I really don't care what people think of me, I cant have a pet where i live, not even a goldfish. So I like to have a few tamas to play with and look after. Princess Violetchi, don't listen if someone tells you there babyish, its just an opinion, like you have your opinion, just ignore the people that say stuff like that. If you like tamagotchis, and they go out of fashion, and you still play with them, so what? Your you, don't ever let anyone change that :(

At my current school I'm the only one who plays with tamas. Fortunately people are pretty open. (It's an arts school.) They say to me, "Cool! Tamagotchis! I remember those!" and don't bug me about it.

The hatred of tamagotchis is usually unfounded. However, I can kinda understand how someone would think you're silly for paying 150+ dollars on one tamagotchi.

I'm starting to invest more money in my collection, though, so I'm kind of guilty of spending a buck or two on tamas. >_>

Hey, they make me happy though. Tamas will never go out of style for me!

*Moved to What's On Your Mind*

Lol @ Pockygirl. :( Yeah.. I understand that "diseased" look.

I tend to believe that "hating" tamagotchis is as much of a fad as liking tamagotchis. If they were that bad, the whole craze would never have started to begin with! I don't particularly understand this compulsion by some kids to decide that because they've lost interest and are bored, the tamagotchi obviously "sucks" and is for babies. What logic is that???

I also don't understand why adults are condemned for liking tamagotchis! I do believe that teddies, remote controlled race cars, board games and Happy Meal figures are all aimed at children too. Why are people not babies for liking them, but mentally deficient for tamagotchis instead??? Go figure.

I'm only 8 so I'm fine but it's my sis who seems to have lost interest in tamas. She like em in preschool and got one on my birthday but she got sick of it in a month so she kept it on pause 4ever! Now it's outta battery and she gave it to me. Shes only 14!

Me too. I show my tama to some of my friends that used to have them and one is always like, 'Let me see your tamagotchi' Then another friend got a v4 and we were thinking about putting the tamagotchi craze back in our school. But there are as many people who like them as those who hate them. I ignore them, and it is easy. So if someone called a tamagotchi babyish well ignore them. They don't know what they are missing! :) And just like Gejitchi said, tamagotchi will never go out of style for the people who love them. I know it won't for me. :)
