The Apocalypse

As the suns rays give way,

to the rain clouds above me,

shadows screaming as they disapear,

left a world alone and cold with fear,

a bitter silence will creep upon,

as all of existence is nearly gone,

and every single step you take,

below the earth will crack and break,

lightning flashes across the sky,

clouds torn apart caught in in riptide,

time slows as you hold your face,

and the screams of kids will fade away,

yelling words as no one hears,

the end is finally here,

stars ripping through the sky,

pounding earth with a blaze of fire,

rain to sleet and sleet to hail,

the crust below will start to fail,

bubbling up from the surface below,

earth's blood starts to glow,

devouring anything in it's path,

existence fading in it's bath,

trees burning like torches set ablaze,

the air becomes thick with smog and haze,

your throat burns and your knees grow weak,

you collapse as tears slide down your cheeks,

you lie in a heap on the ground,

as the power of earth dying overwhelmes,

light flashes and magma sprays,

and life slowly slips away.

Awww don't be scared I have written some happier stuff I can post And just remember, it is just poetry. Poetry tends to be quite vivid to evoke emotions in just a short sentence.
