The Slot Game Controversy

This is ridiculous but I read about a controversy about Tamagotchi's on this website called Reference.com, and I read one of the controversial parts about the Tamagotchi's. It said that this South Australian named Nick Xenophon attempted to ban the Tamagotchi Connection Version 2 due to the slot game featured on it, fearing that it would make kids grow up to become "the gambling addicts of tomorrow". Ridiculous, isn't it?

yeah it is a bit, there was card and slot games in pokemon gold and silver.. They never got banned. I don't believe it is true that it encourages kids to gamble, unless you gained and lost points, then I would believe it may have an effect. I never owned a V2 so I dont know how that slot game worked.

I think I remember reading something about that.

It's very silly. Just someone getting a little excited.

He obviously hadnt've done his research as timefall pointed out. There are many variations of gambling in many different video games.
