after only a few hours of being with me the screen gets scratches ;.; not sure if anyone could help but is there any way i could get the scrathes out and protect it?

if i get a new room design and switch, would i have to pay to switch back?

To protect my TMGC+C screen from scratches, I keep them in a small, clear zip-lock bag. There's a topic about scratches and screen protectors here: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=153560

Regarding room remodeling: You can revert to "ordinary" at no cost, however there is no refund and there is no discount on future remodeling projects. For example, if after reverting a room from Japanese traditional style to ordinary you decide you want Japanese traditional style again, it will cost 1000 GP.
