my pet is ichigotchi(teen) and i have a ticket to france. its in my items but how do u use it??? or does my pet have to be adult?

I'm not sure if your pet has to be an Adult, but I do know that you have to go to Tamatown.com

I haven't Traveled because I never had the Ticket in my Shop.

Your tama does have to be an adult. Once it evolves just use your ticket in the items list and then your tama will travel and it will say "visit tamatown", then go to tamatown and visit the travel agency and you will get your souviner.
