I recently purchased a cheap IR USB for my iD and iDL and I cannot seem to get it to work, even after many attempts.
I am running a 32 bit version of Windows XP via Parallels on Mac. The USB definitely registers on my computer as I get the option whether to use it in my virtual machine or on my Mac, and it is always registered on the virtual machine as a connected device in Device Manager.
The USB I am using has the drivers installed and up to date, and it is registered as a SigmaTel IR USB.
Would anyone be able to help? I've heard mixed things about the USBs. Some people have said that they need to use a specific USB and others have said they just use a cheap generic one and it works perfectly fine.
