was there a tamagotchi just called TAMAGOTCHI or was it TAMAGOTCHI V1?

The first Tamagotchi connection was called; Tamagotchi Connection v1.

 

So Tamagotchi V1 works too.

v.2=Version2 or Tamagocthi connection [i have even heard them been called that]

v.3=Version3

v.4-Version4

v4.5=Version4.5 or Version 4 and a half

v.5=Version5 or Famalitchi

Is there even a v5.5 out yet?, if there is is it Royal Familitchi?
