My little 6yr old sister is going to get a V3 for christmas and I let her have my V1 to practice with, and I was wondering if any of you know any tips or tricks. I been playing tamagotchi's since they were made. I even had the original ones and I have told my sister everything I know (nearly).

well, you might want to sift through the FAQ.

do you own the v2 or v3 yourself?

because there are many new features (since v1):

the king who you donate points to,

the point system i think,

many many many new characters,

shop items

favorite foods/ least favorite foods

secret codes (check the codes section for those)

especially honey. it makes your tams fall in love without all the connecting.

TAMATOWN!!! well, i think its useless BUT it can be fun for others.

I'm not new at tamas. I just wanted to know any tips about v1. becuase I forgot all tips. I have:

two original tama's (made years before the v1)

three v1's

three v2's

eight v3's

OK, here they are:

There is a limited amout of characters so you may get the samw ones alot.

In dance you remeber sequences, in jump you, well, jump!

To get items connect wih tamas who are your tama's friends or who are adults. This seems to increase your chances.
