V3 giving present to V4?

When I was connecting a V3 and V4, I had a wrapped shovel on the V3, when the V3 went into the V4 it gave it a shovel, I looked in the items on the V3 and the wrapped shovel was still there, plus I thought that they could not give each other presents that you buy, was this a random present?. If this has happened please respond.

I say it's a glitch, since random presents are flowers, poo poo, snake, jack in the box and tart.

your right beaause my sister has a V3 and when I connect them she always gives me REALLY random preasants (blocks sunglasses etc.)
