THE V3

A Guide to the Tamagotchi Connection/Connexion Version 3

BUYING A V3

You can buy a v3 at a store: Toys 'r' Us, Wal-Mart, Target, KB toys (it is unlikely for the v3 to be there) or you can order it online at these sites with your parents supervision: amazon.com

or embay or a site your parents feel comfotartable with.

If you order it online, you can decide the shipping days.

You can also bid on v3s, if you win the bid you win the v3 but you have to pay the amount of money you bid for it. Most of the time the buying sites are sold out of v3s but not all the time. Don't just try one site! A lot of people want v3s so be patient if you want one.

AFTER OPENING THE PACKAGE

if you do not know how to start a tama you can read the instructions or you can read this! Pull out the tab gently that is in the side of the tama. You will hear a beeping sound and you will see an egg appear, after waiting a few minutes the egg hatches and you will see if your Tama is a Boy or a Girl. A boy has white hairdo and black body, a girl the opposite, black hair and a white body.

BABIES

The little character that hatched is in its Baby stage. It is cute, but hard to take care of! Babies poop frequently and they lose happy or hungry bubbles every few minutes. So keep an eye on it! But if you hear a beeping sound and see the baby doing something weird and the face icon on the bottom right corner of the screen is dark black (darker than usual) do these things:

1. Feed it a meal. (the intro name every icon for you) and look at the dark black icon. If it is still black do this.

2. Praise it. (the intro will tell you where praise is)

Look at the dark black icon. If it is normal, it is ok, but if it is STILL black give it medicine.

It probably is normal now, right?

There are ONLY two baby characters.

By the way, you can only play the game GET when you have a baby!

After a certain amount of hours, it will morph/evolve. WHAT A RELIEF!!

Now it is in its Toddler stage! What a great caretaker you have been! WAIT-If you see an angel-like egg appear on your screen, that means your tama has passed away. *Sniff* sniff*

TODDLERS

Toddlers are bigger than babies but they do not poop as much but they DO lose happy and hungry bubbles more than once.

Now you can play BUMP!! Hint: If you make your toddler weigh 99 pounds, it has a good chance at winning BUMP but you will get less points.

Toddlers morph into Teenagers. (Are you thinking that teens are drunk and mean? You are wrong about teen tamas! There are like any other stage except for babies)

Toddlers go into the Teen stage after 24 hours, it haves to be about 1 year old to morph. Good-bye, cute toddlers! If you see an angel-like egg on the screen, that means your tama has passed away.

TEENS

There are more teen characters than toddlers and babies (of course but all v3 characters cannot be on v2, but most of the v2 characters can be on v3.

When your Tama turns into a Teen, it can play HEADING and FLAG. Teens eat different meals and snacks than babies and toddlers. To morph into an ADULT, the teen must be unpaused for 24 hours. At age 2 or 3, it morphs. The adult stage is exciting! There are MANY v3 adult characters!

ADULT

When your tama is an adult it can play with mostly ALL the items it has (unlike teens, toddlers, and babies) When you have an adult, it can play all of the games, GET, BUMP, HEADING, FLAG, MEMORY, and SPRINT. Well, your adult cannot always play with the ball items....

See any character on the chart link below that looks familiar? No? Look around or ask around what your character is called and its personalities. Charts link:

*By Rivenn and other members/admins*

Adults can use tickets to get passwords for souvenirs, when you see a big ticket-like thing in your shop, it may be a TV or a Ticket!

You can research more to find out more.

But there is a male one and a female one-A MATCHMAKER! If both of them mate, their owners will each get the coffee character!

The Matchmaker looks old and wrinkled and if you see it come down on your screen, you have a chance of getting babies. IF you want babies, when the Matchmaker asks you if you would like to marry the tama on the screen with the Matchmaker, say YES, if you do not want babies, select NO. If you select NO, your tama will grow old, than, one day it will pass away.

Version 3 Characters

Most Version 3 characters are from the previous version, V2. You remember Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, don't you?

Well, here's another chance to try to care for one of these cute characters!

The cartoons, or TamaTown versions of these characters do not usually look just like the pixel one on your V3, so please be aware of that.

Version 3 Character Growth

Wondering about the growth of the V3 characters?

Here is the main list of stages your character can go through:

 • Baby
 • Toddler
 • Teen
 • Adult
 • Oldie

Baby- This is the first stage of a tama characters life, and the first stage of YOUR life, too! ^-^

When you first pull the tab out of your V3, or after you reset it, an egg will appear. The egg will move for a minute or more.

(During thus you enter the information needed) Soon, you'll hear a BEEP and the egg will hatch!

If a black "Baby" appears, you have a BOY chaarcter. If a white "Baby" appears, you have a GIRL! You MUST pay VERY close attention to your baby and care for it well. After about an hour or two unpaused, your baby will beep and evolve into a TODDLER! Congratulations!

Toddler- This is the second stage of a tama chaarcters life, just like yours!

There are several different toddler characters, such a Marutchi.

These characters are a bit easier to care for then babies, but they are still a handful! So care for them well and pay attention to them!

After about twenty-four hours or more unpaused, your toddler should beep and evolve into a TEENAGER!

Teenager- This is the third stage of a tama chaarcters life, bascially like you! ^-^

There are more teen characters then toddlers and babies put together.

Such as Ichigotchi.

These characters are a bit easier to care for than toddlers and babies, but you still have to pay close attention and care for it very well!

After about sixty hours or more unpaused, you should hear a beep, and your teenager will evolve into an ADULT!

Adult- This is the fourth stage of a tama characters life, basically like you, too!

There are more adult characters than teenagers this time.

Such as Mametchi, your old favorite!

Adults are easier to care for than Teenagers and Toddlers and Babies.

(Your care throughout your characters life gets you the certain characters)

Adults can mate with a opposite gendered character and both have babies on their own, startng a new generation! OR....

if your adult refuses to mate AT ALL, sooner or later you'll hear a beep and the adult will evolve into an OLDIE!

Oldie- There is a boy oldie and a girl oldie, and a special oldie.

They look wrinkly and very.....old!

If a boy oldie and girl oldie do mate, their baby will not be the usual small black or white ball, it will be the special oldie, Oyajitchi! This character is known to love coffee. Cool, eh?

Your chaarcter cannot evolve any more at this point. Congrats!

Version 3 Shop Codes

Wondering about “The V3 Secret Shop Codes”? Here is some information about them to clear your view a bit:

The V3 Secret Shop Codes:

1. ABBA ACBA = cake

2. BCAB ACBC = steak

3. CBAC CABC = cuckoo clock

4. AABB CACB = RC Car2

5. CACA BABC = stuffed animal

6. ACBB BACC = hair gel

7. BCBC CABA = love potion (honey)

But with one of the codes above after you enter them into your Version 3, the item you receive may be different from what you expected-a COSTUME, it can be used again and again! It looks like an owl-character, displayed in the charts above. When your tama goes to bed, it usually takes the costume off.

You can ONLY enter these shop codes in the V3 Shop.

Sometimes you may not be able to enter these codes because your character is not eligible or you have entered them too many times before.

V3 Passwords

There is a place in your Games icon, PASSWORD. A password is a 10 digit number code. When you enter the proper/correct password, you will usually receive the item the password was for, like when you enter these passwords, you get a !! (Clone-goes into your Item Inventory) and a pen.

~

32479 91490 -!! Clone

63532 86367 - pen

~

To enter these passwords or other passwords, use the “A” button to scroll through the numbers until you see the right one, use “B” to select the numbers you want. Using the “C” button, you can edit mistakes or things you think are wrong when you are on the 2nd-10th number, edit it by using the “A” and “B” button, then go back to the ones you have not done yet. When you have entered the whole password-QUICKLY so the password screen won’t go back- on the last number, the 10th number, press the “B” button. If you entered the password correctly, you SHOULD receive the item you were trying to get, but absolutely, that will NOT always happen-the tama may beep and say, ERROR. That means you have done an error. Try again. Or try again later, or no other time. Be careful. Certain passwords are for certain usernames, but the two passwords above are for any user name. I hope you understand V3 Passwords; the topic spudilike compiled helps you a bit more with v3 Passwords.

Tamagotchi V3 Warnings

 • Do NOT let your tamagotchi v3 be in contact with water, neither any other electronic pet.
 • Do NOT leave your tamagotchi in direct sunlight for a "long" time, that may/could cause problems.
 • Do NOT place your tamagotchi in immense heat-ovens, stoves, microwaves, toasters......
 • *More to be added*
Best wishes!
