Its pretty simple to answer actually.
Your tamagotchi has probably put on the Costume. The rare one that you get when you enter in your last V3 Code. If you do wear the secret costume, your tamagotchi stays for another generation. This means that the Numbers will go back to 0,1,2,3,4 ect. Until it reaches the age of 6 and over the matchmaker will only come then. But you can marry and have children even before the age of 6. Pretty cool huh?

woah woah woah woah... Ive been using my costume almost every day and my tama is OMG!! its 8 yrs old? it wasnt that old like yesterday... is it the same thing?
