Yes it is kinda the same as the v4, but It's like updated, from what I heard it has like more characters and I think more games or jobs. When it says .5 some features are added on. Just think of AOL (America Online) ever noticed when they say Version 7.6 and Version 7? They just added some more features, so you can buy it if you want to 
. It's also like dvd, like Special Editons (like they may have added cut out scene).
