V4 trouble

Hi everyone. I took fabulous care of my Tamagotchi toddler but it evolved into a Hawaikotchi. What's going on? And it's not a V4.5 so don't say anything like this.

• Maybe it had high weight? The answer is, no it weighed 10 lbs.
  
• On V4.5 you get universels with good care so maybe you had a V4.5. No it was definatley a V4.
  
• Maybe you forgot about it and neglected it. No I looked after him the whole time.

If you looked after your V4 toddler well and it was not overweight, then it sounds like it's probably low skill points like NintenNerd said.

Play more games, earn more skill points and you will probably find that your character evolutions will improve (in the next generations).
