version 1 connexion - character disapearing?

HI all

This is my first post, I bought a version 1 connexion model for my son, the clock was 12 hours out and it did not receive as much attention as it should and it grew into the Hanatchi character. I managed to change the clock after doing some reading.

However the character keeps disappearing and reappearing, like a slow flash. Why? anybody know?

OOPS! Since I started typing I stopped to feed the little blighter and the match-maker appeared, how cool, is this why it was flashing couse it was lonely?

My only theory is that you might have a flawed Tamagotchi, since they're not really supposed to do that...
