Could you possible post a picture or at least describe it in more detail than what you have provided? It would help us out better. :)

Could you please post what color, games, characters, size etc. it is? Then surely someone will be able to work out the version from that inforamtion.

well it's in this website :( MAYBE THIS IS IT, BUT I'M SURE IT'S THE PINK ONE THE SECOND FROM THE LEFT. )

it's a tama-go with a TMGO on the upper head, and also, it has the game where you have a basket that you catch notes,and also the basketball jump, and the track- and -field sprint game. please help me. but i have seen the V2 growth chart i hope it is V2. but i have readed in many tama forums that many are the characters of many versions.

Those are the games on a KeiTama.

If it's a KeiTama, all the menus are in Japanese. Also, there will be a small antenna-like bump sticking out one of the corners (if an oval can be said to have a corner.) Photos of many of the KeiTama shell patterns are on this site: https://tamagotch.channel.or.jp/toy/kaitsu/products.html

it's a japanese but when i searched the google, i found out it was V4.5 edition and found that it's not it. because my tama's red, and also a big TMGO logo on the head. pleasepleaseplease! i need help here. :( well please help me now. i hope i'll found it.. :( but without all you guys i can't figure out what it is..

"V4.5" is not a valid Japanese model. "V4.5" is an English-language model. Some of the English-language model shell patterns were first used on Japanese-language models.

I still think what you have is a KeiTama, based on what you said about the games.

Here's a link to scans of the KeiTama original instruction manual (in Japanese): https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/112210-keitama/ Please compare the shell shape (specifically the "antenna bump"), and the menus.

This topic -> https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/86303-keitama-passwords/ contains passwords for items a KeiTama Tamagotchi character can purchase via mail order. Instructions how and where to enter the items are in that topic. Please try a few of the items listed in the free items section in that list.

If you remain unsure which version you have, please post a photo of it.

It could have been one of those that someone changed the shell and put a different version inside and fixed the sound to the new shell....

Binary knows their stuff, I would look at the things/links they provided.

I don't know if a KeiTama is the same a V2, but it sounds like you have a V2 (whatever the Japanese version of it is). Does it say tmgC instead of tmgO? Because the Tamago is a separate label, and it is much different than the V2. I think it is a TamagoTCHI, not a Tamago. Does that help?

Well i am sure that it is a TMGO, it's a japanese but i think i have submitted the wrong picture. but the picture is saided that it's V4.5.. :( i really hope you'll help me. it's a japanese, and it has the games which is basketball that you need to jump, the music catcher, and also the sprint race.. it's not a keitama.. sorry.. :( it really is TMGO.. well i think it's not v2.. tnx for everyone.. :) it's not a TMGC like violetchiluvr3 said.. pls, it's a japanese version, and also the shop is the old man who has a stall,and the games, it can't have the cheats ( well it doesn't have cheats), then also the mating is needed to have a one more TMGO toy then connect and there are the numbers you can submit, you can call the lover or something,someone has already contacted me. IT IS NOT A KEITAMA SIR. :) pls help! :) tnx for every one

Looking at only the shape of the toy. Which of the following does it match?

SHAPES.jpg

If by "V2" you mean "shape two", then you definitely do not have a Connection V2.

The numbers I wrote above those diagrams are not the V-number. They were only for you to tell me which shape your Tamagotchi matches.

V1, V2, V3, V4, V4.5, V5, etc refer only to English-language Tamagotchis.

One = Connection V1 (in some countries "Connection" was spelled "Connexion")

One = Connection V2

One = Music Star (sold in some countries as Connection V6)

Two = Connection V3

Three = Connection V4 (a very few of the first Connection V4.5 also have this shape)

Four = Connection V4.5 (sold in some countries as Connection V4plus)

For Japanese-language Tamagotchis, each model has a distinct name.

One = Tamagotchi Plus

One = Oden-kun Tamagotchi

Two = KeiTama

Two = KeiTama Akai-Series

Two = Hanerutchi

Three = EnTama

Three = Hanerutchi 2

Four = UraTama

The games you mentioned earlier match those on a KeiTama. (You said: "you have a basket that you catch notes,and also the basketball jump, and the track- and -field sprint game".) The below diagram shows the game menu and images from each game on a KeiTama. If these do not match the game menu or games on your Tamagotchi, please take some pictures, post them to a photo-hosting site such as photobucket.com, and provide the links to us.
