I used to clean and bleach found bones to use in jewlery making when I lived nearer to the woods. My mother hated it, but my dad taught me how to handle the hobby with respect and care for sanitation. Now I can't set up a maceration bucket on a city fire escape very well, and transporting the specimens that still need cleaned takes too much effort and is too much of a sanitation risk. It was extremely educational while I was interested in keeping up with the hobby, though. Learned a lot about the fauna local to my region that I probably would have taken for granted otherwise.
