If you put your tama in water, it will not drown, but break. :furawatchi: so plz dont do that or u will b sorry when u lose ur tama. :furawatchi:

 
Well, yes. Tamas don't really breathe air, so they technically don't drown. ;) But thanks for the info. :)

 
I didn't realize there was any question or rumor over tamagotchis and water. I just assumed that like most electronics, it would break.



 
...... Ok, Im just gonna say this.

Tamagotchi=Electronic Toy=Electricity=Not real

Liquids=Water=Wet

Electricity+Liquids=No good

THEREFORE:

Tamagotchi+Water=Broken, not drowned.

How in the world could a tamagotchi drown??? THEY AIN'T AIR BREATHERS LIKE US, YO. :Y

Potential water sensor = potential ability to detect water

Programming telling them to make them show a drowning animation = tamagotchi technically drowning.

Point being missed:

The myth is about having a water sensor not about Tamagotchis actually breathing.
