ok well i just got my tamagotchi and well its a teen a young mametchi and well my friend got one two so we connected and stuff hers it a star right know well anyways can i mate with it or no?

Only adult characters (one boy, one girl - any adult character type) can mate and have babies. So you can connect as often as you like with your friends Tama at the moment!
