I know this isn't directed at me, but I definitely find yaoi/yuri to be creepy. There's nothing aesthetically pleasing about lanky, big-eyed manga dudes rolling about in roses in soft lighting.

Okay, here goes (Warning: It may be quite long):

  • My sister
  • People at school who make fun of me
  • People at school who talk about me "behind my back" when I'm about a metre away from them
  • People self-diagnosing themselves based on thinking they have the symptoms
  • People yelling at me when I don't get a joke
  • Justin Bieber's girlish voice
  • The fact that when commenting was available on the official video for "Friday" on YouTube, there were over 100 comments every two seconds
  • The amount of comments about relationships there are on websites which allow you to like it on Facebook
  • Pressing enter posts a comment on Facebook
  • Spelling mistakes. Seriously, when I see I've made a spelling mistake I HAVE to go back and correct it
  • The fact that most RPs here are on things I know nothing about
  • Criticism
  • Tyne on New Zealand's Next Top Model. She was such a diva, I'm glad she's gone

.... Yaoi is manga/anime about two guys loving each other, and yuri is the opposite sex...

Because not every anime/manga writer WANTS to make straight characters?

How is yaoi/yuri creepy? It's just homosexuality but in graphic novels/anime. I just don't understand.

I think the aesthetic is creepy, even if it's straight. Especially when the characters illustrated look younger than eighteen (which is often, I find).

Hm. I don't know what kind of anime/manga you're reading, but ok. (Like I've never read a manga/anime where there are two young, like 12 yo girls in love)

I mean the way they're illustrated. Manga men, when made to look effeminate, tend to come off as underage.

Well, AccioSnitch is right. the characters often look a lot younger than what they are.

*Over affectionate people.

*When someone types in "u" instead of "you" or "r" instead of "are" ect. ect. (Yes, I AM part of the Grammar Nazi's)

*When people ALWAYS spell EVERYONE wrong.

*When people abuse any kind of animal. (especially dogs)

*Over protective people.

*Taddle tales.

*When people ask the stupidest questions.

*When people criticize EVERY LITTLE MISTAKE I DO! (Sheesh I'm only human!)

*When people point out every little annoying detail.

*When people don't use proper punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.

How the word "definitely" has probably proven to be the most misspelled word in the English language.
