what does "download" mean opposed to "restart?"

just wondering what the "download" option is all about when you restart your tama... does it mean that all your previous items and points roll over to the next tama?

No, Download will bring you to the last Tama you had before changing batteries. If you press download you will get the tama you where raising back( Including items and points). It will save from the last mayjor event such as waking up. Well and reset is starting all over.
