What happened to my plant?! (TMCG+G)

I don't know what is going on or if I am doing something wrong.

The first day I got my tama, I planted a seed in the yard. Since then, I've been playing with it for two weeks (watering it everyday), and it only evolved twice. When morning came yesterday, I went out in the yard to see if my batch of leaves turned into a tree. Instead, I saw nothing! My plant disappeared. So, what did I do wrong? Does it normally take this long for a plant to turn into a tree?

Also, I have the rainbow watering can and used it on a cloudy day. I am still not getting anything. Am I missing something here too?

Nevermind on the rainbow. I got it finally ^_^

Each day you visit the sapling it grows a bit. It takes several days to reach full size and bear fruit.

I've noticed on my TMGC+C that trees can be up-rooted and blown away in a typhoon.

Oh, so that's what happened to it. It did get really windy before. LoL...I didn't notice that it was gone! *embarrassed* Thank you.

Yeah, they blow away in the typhoon. All you can do is start another one once the typhoon is over.
