I've had a V2 and now a V3, and I still haven't found out what this was.

Your Tama sits in a cup (tub) like looking thing. And a smell (or steam) floats up. It just sits there happily..

Is this a tub? Is it bathing itself? Thanks. ;]

Yes, it is bathing. It usually does that once or twice a day. It will also brush its teeth once or twice a day.

I dont know, but usually around 7:30 (for me) it starts to take a bath!

It doesn't matter if you interrupt or not. It's just one of the many random animations tamas have.
