What kind of batteries?

I ordered and should be getting a 1997 tamagotchi this week. Though it doesn't come with batteries, at least working ones. So could someone give me a list of types that will work. My local walgreens has cheap prices and they are energizer. So if someone could give me the energizer number especially it would be helpful.

Also if I have a 1997 tama is that P1 or P2?

LR44 batteries.

You need to look at the background. I belive swirls are p2 and Cheakars is p1... Ya. Omg. I'm spelling that wrong but I'm sure you will read it fine.

Is there any diffrent names or numbers for the batteries? Because I didnt see any LR44 ones?

They're also called AG13, 1166, L1154, RW82, SR1154, and A76. LR44 is the most common name for those batteries, I think.
