What kind of creature is it the king?

Have you seen the Tamagotchi King in the Tamatown? He has a strange appearance.

He looks like a golden ball with a crown and a mantel. What kind of creature is it the king? Where are the eyes, the mouth and the other patrs of his body?

It's so mysterious......
