What us the download button?

I have a tamagotchi 4.5

I was playing it for awhile but then the battery died. I lost it, and just now found it. I got new batteries for it but the problem is I forgot how to use it since it's been about a year. Can anyone tell me what "download" is?

Download button is like a restore. It automatically restores your Tamagotchi's information and how it was the last time you played with it. You should press download if you want to load back your previous Tamagotchi. That way, you will get all your stuff back, the items, the Gotchi points and the parents and generations.

The reset button is just RESET, you will loose everything you have.
