The Uratama (Ura Jinsei Enjoi!! Tamagotchi Plus) is a type of Tamagotchi released in Japan. Ura means the dark side/the inside/the other side in Japanese. On the Japanese Tamatown site for the Uratama (Uratown), you enter the inside of the Tamagotchi planet. Some of the Tamagotchi characters on the Uratama are based on normal characters, they just have "ura" at the beginning as a sort of prefix and some weird feature attached to them. Here are some examples:

Uramametchi- Mametchi with a tail

Uramemetchi- Memetchi with wings

Urakuchipatchi- Kuchipatchi with a horn

Uratogetchi- Togetchi with wings

Ura Yangu Marotchi- Marotchi looking younger with some bead thingies in her hair

... and I could go on forever.
