My first ever tama- a purple version 1, is on generation 24 with another baby on its way. I don't play with it a lot now. Let's just say that it has been through quite a lot. I dropped it so many times that the sound is now permanitly set to off. I accidently spilled juice on it last summer- it recovered but sometimes i have to hit the button several times for it to work. Oh well. I still love my beloved first tama!!
