Where do Tamagotchi go when the bay's born?

I just want to know where the tamagotchi goes when the baby is born? In the morining when i wake up the mother/father is already gone! I'd really like to know and I hope you can tell me!

They say good bye and then float up into the air and are gone It's really quite sad I watch it every time!!!
