Why did my Tamagotchi freaking not get the match

My tamagotchi is 8 years old. The matchmaker has never came yet. I woke up this morning and my Tama was dead. It pisses me off I worked so hard for it to die.

v4's normaly live longer then 8 years old the only thing i can think of is you didnt take good care of it and you missed the matchmaker

Yeh, Also the matchmaker should also come around age 6, and 7. Age 8 seems late.
