Will the matchmaker come for an oldie?

I had a Masktchi but the matchmaker never come, not even when I set the time to 12:29 and 4:29 pm and waited for a minute. Now it is 9 years old and I still haven't caught the matchmaker coming. Does this mean that the matchmaker will never come??? I don't have another v6 or v5 to connect it to, so my only hope is the matchmaker

So on the Music Star, if your character turns into an Oldie, no mates are offered for a few days. The band manager will resume making visits after those few days, so just hang tight!
