The ability to feel empathy about a parent leaving a young child (the tamababy cries so it is obviously distressed) either in a movie or in pixels or in real life, teaches us how to feel emotions outside of our own experience. Understanding how others feel (empathy) is essential for humans to be able to get along. It is a part of what is lacking in our species at the moment.

Movies, stories and toys help humans to experience these sorts of emotions indirectly. It is good practice for when you need to experience the real thing.

I have seen all of my V1s leave. It is sad. This is what happends on my Tamagotchi when it leaves:

1.My tama wakes up with a tear in its eye

2.It looks at the baby and hugs it,pat it on the back and sits on its bed to confort the baby.

3.It does #2 for 3 minutes

4. My tama turns to the screen and cries.

5. It kisses the baby.

6.It is still crying and a tear falls on the ground.

7.A door appears and walks out crying.

Does that happen to anyone elses V1?

what's so sad about it? Ya it's a little sad but not really. At least not to me.
