I have trouble on you tube. When I try to post a video, made on Window's movie maker, the video status is processing, then fail, invalid file format.

What went wrong? I need help, I've promised two tamagotchi movies for my forum, and I need to make them quick, but how can I if I cannot upload them?

Any help appreciated.

I had this same problem.

You probably saved it as a MSWMM file which cannot be uploaded onto Youtube. Bring your movie up on Windows Movie Maker, go to 'save as' and save it as one of the file types that can be uploaded [it should say what type you can upload when you are uploading it].

Or you can also save it by going to Save To My Computer and it will ask you some Ques. then you wait a little and bam its done!

Open up your movie on WMM, go to 'File' then click on Save Movie File. When it is finished saving, upload it to YouTube and in a few minutes it should be there on YT.
