I think instruments are only obtained through the guests that knock on your door (like when ur tama alerts u that means the door icon is highlighted and theres a guest) and well u could obtain it by typing in codes but since tamatown it's shut down is pretty useless. :( so yeah as for money...

Don't worry! It's normal. I experienced the same thing when I first got my Music Star :D it will stop after a while, though, so no biggie. If it gets stressed, then I guess you'll have to lower it down either way. :3
