This method is not proven. And I believe the character your tama marries didn't even affect your newborn tama. The thing that affects your newborn tama is your skill points.

Don't worry. Maybe you've missed the matchmaker. She will comes to your tama as long as it's still an adult. It's better to set the time either 2.59pm or 6.59pm and wait for a minute because if you set the time to 10.29am, usually the mailman will appeared instead of the matchmaker :( :lol:

I don't think pausing your tama will caused your tama to act weirdly.

Actually, it depends on what time your tama hatches. It will be a year older after 24 unpaused hours.

You can find an oldie and mate them together. Anyway, the items and gps will lost once s/he died and you need to press A and C for a new egg.

I don't think it's normal. A toddler only changed into a teen when it is one-year-old.
