I had one of the originals. He was solid white. Ah, this topic is actually making me miss my Furby! Maybe I should get him out of storage and start him up again...then again, I don't think anyone would appreciate that.

My Microchimp is like this also, and so is the Digital Doggie that came in the lot with it. I believe these were among the first Giga Pets released. This was the first time I played a Giga like this. He will get bigger that's perfectly normal. I've not found a sure way to make them lose weight...

I have got both Godzilla and the egg monster thing (I don't remember it's name). Once my character turned into the Mothra grub, I neglected it to get Makora. I then took excellent care of Makora, and he turned into Godzilla after a couple days. I don't remember how exactly I got the egg creature...

I have a bunch of these old ones, and I love them! I'm quite good too; I got my frog to live over 200 days until the battery died. Try taking it to the vet once per day and bathing it once per day. That alone will raise your health score by 5 points. Make sure it stays happy by playing games...

I just love that movie. :) It's so funny, I also watch it all year long. It's one of my favorite Christmas movies too.

eBay is the best place to find them. Occasionally (and very rarely actually) I will find one at a yard sale.

Yes the Little Mermaid is just as chatty as all the others. :) I'd say she's noisier than the others actually. You can always turn the sound off though; I never leave the sound on mine because the noise irritates me (as well as everyone else around me) as well.

It's so funny, I can also remember when you couldn't find the originals anywhere, and now I see them for a few cents at yard sales. Furbies were the other hot ticket item back in 1997. You were really lucky if you could find a Giga, Tama, Nano, or Furby in stores. And around Christmas? Forget...
