I think the V1 is worth getting. It has a special place in my heart as it started me on the Tamagotchi craze. It was also the version that re-lanched the Tamagotchi product. There are a nice selection of characters, it is easy enough to care for and it is just a really nice and simple version...

It is a normal glitch that happens the many Tamagotchi versions. It seems that by you pressing reset, restarted your V4.5 altogether. Also, lets keep chit-chat to PMs Luna_Elthorn. :(

As far as we know, it is only availiable to buy in Japan. If you are looking for one I would either go on Ebay or order one of YesAsia. =)
