Ok! I've settled on buying a V4, so thank you for the advice! I was told that you couldn't name the tamagotchi on the 'Friends' edition, and that's a big deal for me xD

I don't watch the show or the anime or anything - so to me it's just a virtual pet/thing. I wouldn't name my dog 'dog' so I have to name it (I didn't buy Tamagotchi Friends because the naming feature wasn't included). I just think it's cute and personal to name them :3

God, I am so clueless >.< I was wondering - if you need to change the battery on your tamagotchi, will changing the battery restart it? Will you lose your progress?
