Mimi sighed and leaned against the wall of her egg. Her owner was planning to connect her with a friend, a memetchi named Sam. But her owner could not find her. "Uh-oh, Mimi, you're sad. I'll praise you," said her owner. Mimi jumped up and down happily.
Finally, her owner said, "There's Sam's owner, Leah!" Her owner jogged over to Leah. "Sorry I'm late," said Leah. "School got out late."
"Never mind," her owner replied. "Let's connect them. We'll make them send presents."
Mimi liked presents. Giving made her feel good. Hastily, she put up her away sign and eagerly jumped off the screen.
"Okay. Now let's see....hey, where's Mimi? Where did she g-- Wha---happ--ing? Ge- -er --ck!"
Her owner's voice faded. Instead of being on another screen, Mimi was in a big white empty space.
"I'M LOST!"
