From my point of veiw, people make new accounts to have a "Clean Slate".

Like if they have bad Karma or have been mean to another member then they make a new account.

I made the second one when the site was having problems and freezing random accounts. I figured if I had another account and stayed on that for a few days then that one would be frozen and not this one.

Neither of them froze though, and all the ones that did were restored ^.^

I rarely ever use the other one. I just go on to check PMs, which I usually don't have on there.
