You guys really had a war on the unconventional depths of this concept !Like tamagirl101 said, when you mention 'church' it really is the people- not the building.
I suppose you are talking about the building and all that goes on so I will elaborate on that. Basicaly, the church is a place of fellowship of other believers. It's not a thing you HAVE to do or you'll go to hell [well, some people believe this but there is no Biblical backing] but it is commanded that we go to a church. It's for the building up of others as well as ourselves. It's a place to learn, grow and get advice.
I've recently have had troubles in my church- it's by no means perfect because we are all still people- and I've noticed a difference, for the worst, in myself actually. I need to get back into it but, really, I don't know how.
Well not really as none of my family believe in God.Like you're the rebel of the family, but you stand on your own grounds.
