Are digimon consitered tamas?

Are digimon clasics tamagotchis? I have a mini, and it's basicly a tama mini, but with conneting battles.

No, but most Tama websites have a page dedicated to DigiMon since they are made by BanDai. I liked the first ones that came out. I remember me and my brother ahd them and we would battle together with them. They were fun!

lol, who remembers the godzilla virtual pet, you could battle with those too. In fifth grade, which was nearly seven years ago, 2 people had them on their wristband, and one time, during lunch the kids kept yelling at them to battle, so they did, but people wouldn't stop screaming so the cafeteria lady's told them to stop or they would be confiscated.

Well, the origional Digimon seemed to be using the P2 engine, so I consider them to be Tamagotchi, if not more aimed at boys (why do we love to pit small creatures against each other in battle?).

Nope, but I never had one. I will buy it, though. But for now I am aimed at a V4.
