Are screws a problem for English P2s?

I noticed that a common problem with older Tamagotchis is stripped screws, but is it only for the Japanese models because of the screws they use?

I have an English P2 coming in the mail, so I want to know if the screws will be a problem or not.

Screws can be a problem with any of the older models, I recommend replacing them with newer ones if you have any so they don't degrade every time you open it up.
